wp-gallery-mail is an extension to Wordpress that allows files and images to be posted via email to appear as blog entries, with images being stored in Gallery albums, automagically thumbnailed into the post.

Version 0.2 of wp-gallery-mail is available here. Includes bugfixes, the ability to change the album and adding links back to the Wordpress post inside the picture description. You can read the documentation here.

Ability to change the Gallery album to post to through mail commands
Optionally add a link back to the Wordpress post in the description field of the images inside gallery
Graceful error condition handling. If it is unable to load the album specified in the mail, the default album, or an Gallery reports an error whilst posting, then the script will revert to putting the in the local files directory and uses that on the page (no thumbnail creation though)
Changed the image meta information from {..} to (..) as some mobile phones cannot enter braces (curly brackets)
Now correctly tells the difference between login failure and no emails
Fixed handling images with special characters in the filename
Fixed category handling
Moved configuration variables into a separate file to ease upgrading
